The WT-4 is a high performance Wireless Transmitter for specified Nikon digital SLRs. It supports wired LAN (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX) and wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g, 11a), and enables the creation of multiple camera networks with remote image browsing and download capability.

Nikon WT-4 Wireless Transmitter enables Wi-Fi remote operation and image transfer or wired Ethernet connection. The transmitter range is approximately 590 feet (IEEE 802.11b/g) or 850 feet (IEEE 802.11a) using wireless LAN. Available selectable modes include Image transfer mode, PC mode, Thumbnail Select mode and Printer mode.

Use the Wireless Transmitter Utility to adjust network settings and the like for WT-7, WT-6, WT-5, and WT-4 wireless transmitters, UT-1 communications units, and cameras with built-in Wi-Fi and/or Ethernet.
