The Kia Niro (Korean: 기아 니로) is a subcompact crossover SUV [1] manufactured by Kia since 2016. It is an electrification-focused vehicle, offering three versions: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric variants.

Kia Niro Mk2 (chassis code SG2) is a compact crossover in production from 2021. Interestingly, it is available as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or battery-electric vehicle. The first two share a small 1.6L I4 engine. Marketed as an "SUV", the Niro is more appropriately described as a crossover, or perhaps a slightly taller hatchback.
