The Forest God is, or was, supposedly the most powerful entity in the Forest, and was revered and feared by almost everyone residing there. The truth was not so spectacular - rather than a benevolent deity, the "god" was essentially an aggressive, violent beast, who showed contempt for it's devout followers like Godtender Brown .

The Janitor is a mysterious character in Night in the Woods who appears several times throughout the game. The Janitor is a middle-aged, cyan-colored bird. He has a long, narrow beak and a short shaggy goatee. He wears a flannel shirt, jeans and heavy work boots, and carries several tools on his belt.
