Nix is the name of a series of bipedal combat vehicles that the Air Raider can call for in Earth Defense Force 5. They are the spiritual successor to the BM03 Vegalta series.

The Nix, unlike the Vegalta, actually has hands, making it theoretically capable of CQC. The Nix also surpasses the Vegalta when it comes to speed, agility, and equipment. We can also theorize that since the Nix actually has a head that isn't just its cockpit, the Nix also potentially has better sensor arrays than the Vegalta.
