NMSP District 9 — Clovis. District Nine is situated on the east side of the state covering areas in both the southeast and northeast sections. We serve the counties of Curry, De Baca, Guadalupe, Quay, Roosevelt and parts of Torrance, Harding and San Miguel.

Each rank comes with its own unique responsibilities and is respected throughout the chain of command of the New Mexico State Police. The service patches indicate the amount of time an officer has been on the force. Each silver hash mark indicates one year in service and each gold star represents 5 years of service.

It is the purpose of this policy to provide uniform officers with established procedures for patrol operations which is considered to be the primary law enforcement function of the Uniform Bureau of the New Mexico State Police.
