This build started as I had a pile of parts leftover from previous builds, and had been wanting to get back into a "real" Jeep for some time (my JK Rubi just doesn't do it for me). The Jeep was being setup for SOA when I bought it, and was WAY too tall.

2010年12月5日 · The original no-lift TJs were built by a good friend of mine back east. They consisted of a 1" body lift (everywhere but under the grill) and a set of 1" coil spacers up front. The axles (1 tons) are pushed out towards the ends of the tub to get the wheelbase you want. I have a low-rider YJ project in the shop right now.

2004年12月3日 · Bigger tires won't do much for you without a lift. I get older and they stay the same age. well the cj wheels have a 5.5 bolt patern where the yj has a 4.5 bolt patern. 33 will rub on the flares in the rear if not lifted and hit the springs on the front if the back spacing on the wheels are not correct.

2009年8月24日 · Get highline fenders and buy ur 35's. then see if itll fit. if not a small lift like perhaps some 5/8 lift shackles or a 1 1/2 body will clear it and be cheap

2012年11月29日 · I am thinking about developing a *Zero Lift* YJ leaf spring with a military wrap. I may be missing something as I have searched for these and cant seem to find what I am looking for. I know of a few companies that offer custom springs but there seems to be so many YJ's running a spring over that making a specific spring would be worth while.
