Gulen is a fjord in Bremanger Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The fjord empties into the Frøysjøen strait (on the west end) and to the east, it splits into three branches: Nordgulen, Midtgulen, and Sørgulen.

Nordgulen er en av flere fjordarmer i Gulen i Bremanger kommune i Vestland. Den er 8,5 kilometer lang, og går østover til Svelgen, kommunesenteret i Bremanger. Fjorden har innløp mellom Leirvikneset i vest og Kvieneset i øst. Gården Dyrstad ligger på nordsida av fjorden, mens Eikeland og Byrkjelia ligger på sørsiden.

Nordgulen er ei bygd i Gulen kommune i Sogn og Fjordane. [1] Den ligger innerst i Nordgulfjorden, rundt 7 km i luftlinje øst for kommunesenteret Eivindvik. Bygda, som ligger på begge sider av Nordgulelva, består av tre deler: Haveland, som ligger sør for elva, Tveit, som ligger øst for elva og selve Nordgulen som ligger nord og vest for elva.

After visiting Hovden, we spent two nights in Gulen, a small fjord just north of Floro with three branches: Sorgulen, Midtgulen and Nordgulen (south, middle and north respectively). We toured the area extensively by tender, enjoying the spectacular scenery, and we had the excitement of breaking ice for a mile or so on the way out.
