The Norinco Type 86S (Chinese: 86S自动步枪 [3]; pinyin: 86S zìdòng bùqiāng; lit. '86S Automatic Rifle') is an AKM-type bullpup rifle that was produced by Norinco. Many major parts are interchangeable with other standard Kalashnikov rifles.

86S的枪管与56式冲锋枪一样长，但由于采用无托结构，因此全枪长度比56式冲锋枪短得多，即使装上刺刀，也比56式冲锋枪折叠刺刀时短211 mm。 86S仿照FAMAS的做法，把拉机柄移到机匣顶部，左右手均能操作，并用一个提把保护机械瞄具。 机匣前方有一个可折叠的小握把，射击时可以用于控制枪口上跳，卧姿射击时，还可以充当脚架支撑地面，提高射击的稳定性。 86S有两种弹匣，一种是20发容量，一种是传统的30发容量。
