2008年3月21日 · I've used my norinco SKS for deer in the past. I actually have that Tapco stock on it, I love it. I would not recommend putting a scope on it. The iron sights are rather good on the norinco, and can produce decent groups at under 100 yards. Remember, when hunting deer, you need to be using 5+1 rounds.

2023年6月12日 · My sks is also a '59 but the serial number starts with the letter "I" which makes it a letter series. Your SKS must have came after the letter series. If it has no Chinese characters on the side of the receiver that means it's probably late '59 to '61 production. But since you dated it it's probably closer to '59/'60.
