The St. Joseph North Pier Inner and Outer Lights are lighthouses in St. Joseph, Michigan, US, at the entrance to the St. Joseph River on Lake Michigan. The station was built in 1832 with the current lights built in 1906 and 1907; [1] [4] they were decommissioned in 2005. [5]

The historic St. Joseph North Pier Inner and Outer Lights and associated catwalk are located on the North Pier and accessed through Tiscornia Beach. The lights, which were constructed in 1907, were acquired by the City of St. Joseph in 2013 from the federal government, and following a public fundraising campaign through the Lighthouse Forever ...

St. Joseph’s stone lighthouse was replaced in 1859 with a two-story, frame keeper’s dwelling with a square tower rising from one end of its peaked roof. The light was roughly forty-eight feet above the ground, but the bluff on which it stood gave it a focal plane of 101 feet above lake level.

The Outer Lighthouse is a round, cast-iron plate 35-foot tall tower topped by a round watch room and 10-sided lantern room and located on Lake Michigan, on the north breakwater at the mouth of the St. Joseph River.
