It will only activate if the third-party antivirus is uninstalled or if you activate it manually in the Windows Security options. If you did not select this option, you can rest assured. 2023年8月27日 · Norton can go by the numbers (new number must mean update!) i.e. the new version may well be directed to a different OS win 11 ,10 ,7 and not needed for your current system. Windows update will target your system and updates are for your setup. However not all drivers for other 3rd party hardware is auto update by windows.

2023年8月11日 · Can you give more details about the notifications you're getting? Is it a notification from Norton or an ad about Norton? If it's coming from Microsoft Edge, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications and check if Norton is in the Allow list. You can click the three dots next to a website in the list and then remove it.
