When I first started, I would finish my work within a few hours and have nothing to do. I asked for more work and was told they'd try, but didn't want me to burn out too fast. Made me realize other jobs have trained me to work at such a fast pace that I'd hate working, while this one wanted me to do quality work at a sustainable pace.

2016年6月7日 · It really sucks when you have nothing to do 70% of the time but you still get praise, as though you were slaving all day. Your situation is not uncommon. Some people look busy all day just because they are slow and don't know how to work efficiently, so they feel overworked. Some people can do that same job in 2 hours and they become bored.

2019年2月18日 · Long answer: at my previous job I was like you, had nothing to do 80% of the time. I was there for 1 year and 9 months. At my current job, where I have been for 4 months, it has been full on 100% of the time. There actually aren't enough hours in the day to do the work.
