NPPA, the National Press Photographers Association, is a brand that represents and advocates for photojournalists worldwide. As the voice of visual journalists working in print, broadcast, and digital media, NPPA is committed to promoting and protecting the integrity of visual storytelling.

The National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) is an American professional association made up of still photographers, television videographers, editors, and students in the journalism field. Founded in 1946, the organization is based in at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.

A collection of historic documents from NPPA's history: the organization's Certificate of Incorporation; original 501 (c) (6) Certification; the organizing committee letter sent as planning proceeded to create the NPPA; and a member's application form filled out in 1946.
