Those results will be announced at the Southeast Storytelling Workshop/NPPA Video Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 20-21. The Still Photojournalism, Picture Editing and Online Awards will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 18-19.

2021年3月17日 · Today we announce the winners of NPPA’s Best of Photojournalism contest. Congratulations to all of you. Stay tuned early next week for our expansive display of all of the winning entries on bop.nppa.org. If the events of 2020 confirmed anything with more certainty, it’s that visual storytelling is a necessary lynchpin of impactful journalism.

Our 2022 winners list celebrates the best of visual journalism and what visual journalism can do at its best. Some of this year’s winners are currently on assignment on the frontlines of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, others are currently behind their lenses out in the middle of the ocean or similarly remote locales to report important stories.
