2004年12月16日 · At that time HT's with the NEC 4956 performed all of the welding related nuclear power plant related welding, MM's took a shorter course to be classified as an emergency repair welder. It is my understanding that the HT NEC no longer exists.

2021年4月20日 · Next duty station some guy backed out on re-enlisted contract that included 4956 Nuclear Weld School and I was the only guy qualified to go. Had to extend my enlistment by 6 months but got out in 4 yrs 10 months certified as a Nuc Welder.

2011年12月30日 · I work as a civilian as a Nuke welder in a Navy shipyard and I will say this.... The Navy is not known for having welders that are that great. They can do basic stuff and make quick repairs but not at a professional level. Seabees would be pretty cool in my opinion.
