2025年3月17日 · Polished cut surface of NWA 2965. The rock is ~8 cm in width. Rubin (2016) reclassified Al Haggounia 001 and paired specimens as "vesicular, incompletely melted, EL chondrite impact melt rock [s]." NWA 2965 is likely paired, and is therefore also reclassified.

Large pieces may retain portions of weathered fusion crust with only moderate to lightly weathered interiors. Classification: Enstatite chondrite (EL6/7); minimal shock, variable weathering (W2–W5). It has absolutely no evidence of chondrules.
