We are the professional body in New Zealand representing medical imaging technologists and radiation therapists working in Diagnostic imaging, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT , PET/CT and MRI. The NZIMRT is a registered incorporated society under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 .

The NZIMRT offers free student membership to all student MRTs enrolled in a New Zealand undergraduate Medical Radiation Sciences programme accredited by the NZIMRT. If you are newly qualified please email us to upgrade your membership.

2025年3月7日 · The Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences (JMRS) has today released the abstracts from ASMIRT / NZIMRT 2025, which will be held from 27-30 March in Adelaide. Both the oral and the poster abstracts are publicly available. Concurrent oral presentations mean delegates must choose which presentations to attend, at the cost of missing others.

2025年3月3日 · With under a month to go, now’s the time to register for ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 in Adelaide. The draft program for the Friday 28 March student conference is out now. If you’re a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Graduate Entry Masters (GEM) MRS program, including honours, you are eligible for the student rate.

Get creative in your department and create your own Tiktok video to highlight what you are doing to strive for Peak Technique. We also welcome abstracts on topics outside this theme. Abstract submissions are invited for: Oral presentations, scientific, non-scientific, and student presentations are 12 minutes long to allow time for questions.
