Oil vapors in the crankcase need to be vented, or else pressure will build up inside and eventually that will lead to a blown seal, making the engine an oil fountain. As of this writing, I was quoted for an engine removal and installation at $2150 at my Ford Truck dealership.

2007年11月30日 · First, there is a orange hose update kit (F7TZ-9C681-AA) since the orange hose for the turbo inlet is no longer serviced by Ford or International. This kit has everything to switch to the black hose used in the early 99 SDs. Hose, clamps and replacement intake breather adaptor and hardware.

2011年3月24日 · Quick question...I see it in a bunch of peoples sigs...what's the CCV mod? Valair Clutch, only the best. Basically taking the ccv that routes into the intake and either routing it so it dumps on the ground or into a catch can. Keeps oil out of the intake. Oh ok I see.

2011年3月19日 · Who is running the Stealth's / NC Hornet's CCV Kit? What is all the secrecy about? Is the kit worth the $100? I know the CCV mod can be done cheaper, etc, just wondering about this particular kit. With "over 500 sold" someone should have a review.

Airlift bags and Wireless Air controller. super easy. like hooking the hose to the spicket. unless you want an oil catch then re route it to the valve cover. There was a post the other day with photo's from webshots dot com.

2012年1月22日 · Do yourself a favor and replace the o-rings on the CCV housing while you are doing the swap. I also turned my CCV housing to make it easier to route the hose. The housing is the same both ways. Here is some pictures.

2012年6月4日 · Hey guys, just got the Full Force stage 2 sticks in and also dropped the CCV down to the frame rail. I have quite a bit of blow by coming out from underneath my truck now. My question is does anyone know where i can find the thread that shows the catch can the guy on here built with some PVC and it also had some sort of media to caych the oil ...

2008年3月20日 · BRV+, CCV mod run to the back between fuel tank and skid plate. 2.5" leveling kit and running 315/75/16 Hankook MT. Cobra CB with dual 3' whips. 12000 miles + on WMO and ZERO problems. Huge make over on the way.
