JDM Pedals “OC Boost” is a compact modern recreation of the classic “Rangemaster” circuit. Our modifications include an “EQ” knob, which progressively blends in more low frequencies, and a “hi cut” switch to adjust the very top end of the response. We build this pedal using original “black glass” OC71 and OC44 transistors.

JDM Pedals “OC Boost” is a compact modern recreation of the classic “Rangemaster” circuit. Our modifications include a “Range” knob, which progressively blends in more low frequencies, and a “hi cut” switch to adjust the very top end of the response. With the “Range” set fully counterclockwise, you have a classic treble boost.

This pedal is built using an original Valvo OC71 black glass Germanium transistor. The OC71 was one of the original transistor choices for the Rangemaster device - the sound is smooth, powerful and, with our mods can be shaped to perfectly match modern or vintage amps.
