I now get the message "The file you have attempted to import appears to be invalid or contains corrupt data. PLease download the file again. Typical problems with OFX include the bank or financial institution not expaning ampersand (&) characters correctly, as these should be specified as & in the file. You can obtain additional information on OFX on Article 8.

Starting on 11/19/2021, I am getting “HTTP Error 403: Forbidden” error (full trace and ofxget.cfg are at the bottom). OFXClient call from my own script comes back with the same. I called Fidelity and after going through a chain of reps, talked to someone from OFX support.

2020年10月8日 · The cached file in the AppData\Local\Temp directory does not have the original filename and does not have a *.ofx extension, so it is not obvious as to which file is the bad file (except perhaps by looking at the modification time). The "Import Files" entry in the registry does have the filename.

This problem may occur if the *.ofx file that you are downloading or the response file that was sent for your statement request is not correctly formatted according to the Open Financial Exchange (OFX) standards that Microsoft Money expects. A specific error code in the ofx/response file may also identify the problem.

I am currently using Money Plus Sunset and trying to import OFX files. The system is a fresh install that has not had any prior version of Money on it. The .mny opens fine. It was last updated a week or so before end of service using Sunset on the prior system. I'm trying to update my accounts by OFX download from my FI (USAA).

How do I resolve it? This sounds like an issue regarding the connection with Quicken and Northwestern Mutual. Next, I suggest deactivating and then reactivating the affected account (s). However, before doing so, I recommend saving a backup of your data file first (just in case).
