My old rig is still on the road with that OX locker going on 7 years and we’ll over 100,000klm For the above poster I would say that your OX cable was flawed or not properly adjusted if you had engagement issues .

2011年3月15日 · They are both either completely unlocked like an open axle, or when locked they are both like a spool. They only vary by how they are locked or unlocked. Steering would be no stiffer or otherwise different with the Ox Locker than it would be with the ARB. Same with the Rubicon air locker, all three would feel the same when locked and unlocked.

2010年4月4日 · I have had an OX locker in front since 2004, and a Detroit locker in the rear for the same amount of time. Never a problem with either. I live where it snows and I don't drive the jeep on the street very often when it's icy. I have friends with ARB's I have seen one solenoid fail, several air line leaks that have all been fixed on the trail.

2014年7月15日 · So Ive decided to install an OX Locker to my Dana super 44 in my '04 Rubicon. I am having problems with the carrier shims. I bought the bearings and set up kit from the OX website. The bearings are different than the stock as the bearing cage extends outside of the race. The shims supplied match the race exactly except for the thickest shim.

2010年8月11日 · The clutch-based ECTED is the very LAST locker I would install. In fact, I wouldn't install one period. The ECTED's clutch pack, when the locker is engaged, can actually slip which means it can slip at the worst possible time. When I want/need a locker, it sure won't have any clutch pack in it.

2022年2月17日 · Hello, I purchased an Ox Locker for my rear Dana 44. I will be re-using the ring and pinion. Will I most likely be able to get away with just adjusting the shims on the new carrier, and not have to pull the pinion to adjust the shims on the pinion, or will I most likely have to pull the pinion to correct the pattern?
