Oakly Park, Bromfield, Shropshire, England is a country house dating from the 18th century. In the early 19th century, the house was restored and extended by Charles Robert Cockerell, Surveyor to the Bank of England for his friend Robert Henry Clive. The private home of the Earls of Plymouth, Oakly Park is a Grade II* listed building.

Oakly Park lies c 3km north-west of Ludlow, south of the village of Bromfield on the main A49 Ludlow to Shrewsbury road. The park lies on ground rising from the River Teme, which forms its northern boundary.

Oakley Park, a seat of Lord Windsor in the S of Salop, on the river Teme, 2 miles WNW of Ludlow. The mansion is beautifully situated overlooking the river, and surrounded by an extensive park containing ancient oaks and other fine timber.

The park was improved by William Emes circa 1780 and contains earlier plantings of 1733. Additional planting place during the late 19th century.

There is plenty of space to explore or sit and watch the wildlife, and there is a bench in the woodland, near the pond, overlooking children’s playground. The Friends of Oakley Park and Southern Navigators Club have a permanent, 20-post orienteering course in Oakley Park.

2023年1月17日 · The present estate at Oakly comprises a joining of the former hunting park of Ludlow Castle together with the lands of the former Benedictine Priory of Bromfield, which stood on the opposite bank of the River Teme from the Park.
