He was later able to use it when the Ten-Tails was extracted from him, and while we was trying to take the Tailed Beasts from Madara and while fighting Kaguya Otsutsuki.

The Juubi's body was eventually retrieved by Uchiha Madara, and then upon capturing the one through seven tailed beasts, along with a tentacle from the Hachibi and chakra from the Kyuubi, he and his partner Uchiha Obito were able to almost fully revive the Juubi in its original form.
