OCAG has continually strived to improve its processes and practices. The promulgation of Government Auditing Standards, Code of Ethics and Quality Control System is significant step in this direction. A set of compliance audit guidelines consistent with the new Auditing Standards have also been prepared and published.

1.04 The objective of the system of quality control in OCAG Bangladesh is to provide it with reasonable assurance that: a) The officers and staff comply with professional standards and applicable legal and regulatory requirements; and b) Reports issued by OCAG are appropriate in the circumstances.
