Ocmulgee is the ancestral homeland of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation who now resides in Oklahoma.

2024年12月10日 · The Visitor Center and Earth Lodge are open from 9:00 am-5:00 pm daily. The park is closed on Thanksgiving Day, December 25, and January 1. Bicycling is allowed only on the park road and the Heritage Trail. Picnicking is allowed only in the picnic area. No climbing on the mounds. No recreational activities allowed beyond the Visitor Center area.
