2022年1月7日 · For anyone curious about the character of Octavian, I've done a lot of analysis and I would love to chat with others about what they think! TLDR: Octavian is confusing - but also highly misunderstood (not in like "uwu" way - but in a "his flaw is wrath not pride" way). And I think that's a crying shame.

2023年9月26日 · Octavian splurged the camp’s budget on himself, and invited a massive army of monsters to ally against Camp Half-Blood, not realizing that the monsters would wipe them all out once the Greeks were killed. Octavian’s lack of wisdom and foresight was what also caused his death. So I’d say that he’s a pretty well written character.

2023年12月28日 · Octavian would have been perfect. A man who used the war to his advantage, an excuse to exterminate his enemies and organise a coupe. But most importantly he would have been the real HUMAN villain of the franchise. Like, the villain of PJO, was a demigod, but he was as strong as perché, expert at fighting and handsome.

2021年7月24日 · Finally, when the Argo 2 left after blowing up Camp Jupiter, Octavian rose to power and controlled the legion. Reyna, feeling pressured to date someone, had considered Octavian a possibility since he was influential in Camp Jupiter. TL;DR: Reyna had genuine feelings for Jason, had a brief crush on Percy, and felt pressured to date Octavian.

2023年7月23日 · Octavian is actually a good person or at-least not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. Most of his actions are out of self defence or loyalty to Rome, such as his hatred for Percy and the greeks, his attack on camp half blood and his disobedience to Reyna.

i think octavian had valid reasons for what he did.
