I said: never used this Octorok before. Ever. I said: Scimitar of the Seven, which you might recognize as a weapon that doesn't come degraded. I tested with another weapon (via save scumming) and it worked fine. Seems like it's the particular weapon that isn't compatible, unless I'm missing something.

Each individual Rock Octorok can only do this once per Blood Moon cycle, so try to remember where you can find several of them if you plan on making a lot of repairs. Also, you CAN save-scum to get a modifier you like, but their quality seems tied to overall story progress again, so doing this too early is probably a waste of time.

2023年5月12日 · this is absolutely correct if you use an octorok you have to kill it and wait for a bloodmoon also the mention weapons that cant be repaired are the amiibo weapons but there is a workaround for it just fuse the "unrepairable" weapon to a regular weapon restore it and tada 2 fresh weapons just unfuse it in tarrey town

To the best of my knowledge they can't. Only thing that can be done with weapons pertaining to octoroks is you can transform the Rusty Series (rusty sword, rusty shield, etc.) randomly into their counterpart from one of the other series (Traveler's Series, Soldier Series, etc.) by allowing a rock octorok to suck up and spit back out said item.

I believe it and the other gloom gear are considered legendary items, you'll have to fuse them to a weapon and then have the octorok repair the fusion. Take it apart in Terry Town after. I’m feeding my Savage Lynel Bow to a Rock Octorok and it won’t give me the 5 shot bonus after 50 attempts. All I get is a random attack up amount or more durability.Safe to say 5 shot isn't in the octoroks buff pool then. It can only be rolled naturally on savage lynel bows. Id suggest getting 1 5-shot bow and duping it.
