Ogres (魔物 Mamono, lit. "Demons") are a race of Majin [1] Demons in the Dragon Ball anime, making their debut in Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle. In Japanese they are referred to under the generic term of mamono (魔物). [1]

King Yemma, recognized as King Enma or King Yama, holds the role of the Ogres' leader and judge of the deceased. He determines the destiny of souls in his office, directing them to either Heaven or Hell. Goku, the late hero, was one of the souls judged by King Yemma for resurrection.

The Oni (鬼; Literally meaning "Ogre") are a race unique to the Afterlife. They generally have ogre-like form, horns, and red or blue skin. They also appear dressed like a business men and wear tiger-skin ties and pants. In the anime, unlike the oni work at Enma's castle, the guardians for Hell both wear a sort of gym outfit.

2023年6月8日 · There's The Guide and The Sweeper but no name specific for them. The only names in hell (that I can think of) are Yemma, Goz and Mez. Because these are three names pulled from actual mythology about the (Buddhist) afterlife (Yama Rajah / Enma-Daiō the Judge of Hell, and the Bull-headed [Gozu] and Horse-headed [Mezu] ogres).

Goz (ゴズ Gozu) is a large ogre in charge of Hell alongside Mez. King Yemma is his boss and also the only oni who is stronger than Goz. In original Japanese, Goz speaks with adding おに ("oni") to the end of each sentence. Goz's skin is blue, he has purple hair, and one horn. He wears a white tank top & shorts, and blue wristbands and shoes.
