Oiartzun (Basque: Oiartzun, Spanish: Oyarzun) is a town and municipality located in the Basque Country, in the province of Gipuzkoa lying at the foot of the massif Aiako Harria (Peñas de Aya in Spanish).

Oyarzun [1] [2] (oficialmente en euskera: Oiartzun) es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Guipúzcoa, en la comunidad autónoma del País Vasco. Situado en la parte oriental de la comarca de San Sebastián, limita con los municipios guipuzcoanos de Irún, Lezo y Rentería y con los municipios navarros de Goizueta y Lesaca.

Oiartzun Gipuzkoako ipar-ekialdeko udalerri bat da, Oiartzualdekoa. Mendiz inguratua dago, Aiako Harria irudi eta oinarri duela. Harana Oiartzun ibaiak zeharkatzen du, eta herria haren inguruan altxatuta dago, baina erdigune historikoa (Elizalde auzoa) ibaitik urruti dago. Oiartzunek 10.340 biztanle zituen 2023 urtean.

The Oiartzun River (pronounced [oiaɾts̻un]) is a short river in the Basque Country in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. [1] It is the smallest river of Gipuzkoa flowing into the Bay of Biscay ( Atlantic basin); the river joins the sea at the Bay of Pasaia .
