The Child-OIDP quantifies the impact of oral conditions on daily activities of children, such as eating, speaking, cleaning teeth, smiling, emotional stability, relaxing, doing schoolwork/homework, and social contact .

OIDP change scores on a treated subsample showed moderate effect size (0.59) and were associated with perceptions of oral health change, providing evidence for its responsiveness to change.
