The MIMOSA SDAIR specification addresses key aspects of OIIE ecosystem administration, with a focus on application-neutral technical and engineering oriented Master Data Management for life-cycle asset and facilities Management.

The OIIE enables organizations in asset-intensive industries to bring their people, processes, systems, and software into alignment with each other following industry-standard OIIE Use Cases and using the industry-standard OIIE Intra and Inter Enterprise Connectivity Architectures.

The Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE) is built around a set of interoperability use cases that describe how industrial systems are to interact to achieve functionality desired/required by organizations involved in asset lifecycle management.

The OIIE is a vendor-neutral industrial digital ecosystem, which is composed of enterprises using applications, systems, and systems of systems that interoperate based on the OIIE standards and specifications.
