Škoda Auto has produced the following vehicles since its inception in 1895 (as Laurin & Klement before 1925).

Our story began in 1895 on two wheels, with an inventive spirit and motto: "Only the best is good enough for our customers”. This year the Škoda brand, or rather Laurin & Klement, is celebrating 130 years of its existence. On Škoda Storyboard, we will show important moments of our history using objects from the archives or museum.

Škoda Auto a.s. (Czech pronunciation: ⓘ), often shortened to Škoda, is a Czech automobile manufacturer established in 1925 as the successor to Laurin & Klement and headquartered in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Škoda Works became state owned in 1948.

In April, 1996, the all-new model, the Škoda Octavia is introduced. Three years later comes the Škoda Fabia, and in 2001 a new luxury limousine in the upper-middle class is introduced, the Škoda Superb. Production facilities are built in Russia, China and India.

In 1930 the factory is struggling with the world-wide economic crisis and introduces to production a car with an entirely new concept - the Škoda 418 Popular becomes the basis for individual product lines. The Mladá Boleslav car manufacturer is introduced under the new trade name ‘Škoda’ at the international motor show in Prague.
