Oltcit S.A. (Romanian: [oltˈsit]) was an automobile manufacturer, established as a joint venture between the communist Romanian government (64%) and Citroën (36%). [1] Their main products were the Oltcit Club and Citroën Axel hatchbacks, assembled in Craiova, Romania.

The Oltcit Club is a supermini produced between 1981 and 1991 and developed in co-operation by Citroën of France and Oltcit, a joint venture company with the Romanian government.

Oltcit byla rumunská automobilka, která v letech 1981 až 1996 vyráběla auta na bázi francouzské značky Citroën. Název automobilky Oltcit byl odvozen od místa, kde se automobilka postavila – kraj Olténie a od názvu automobilky Citroën, která pro Oltcit vyvinula automobil.

1979年，在布加勒斯特的EREN展览会（即“国家经济成就展览会”）上，新的Oltcit汽车品牌正式推出，该品牌有两种车型：652 cc和36马力发动机以及1130 cc和56马力发动机。

2023年5月24日 · The Oltcit was supposed to be a modern 5-door successor to the Ami 8 and Ami Super. Apart from the 4-cylinder GS engine (or the 2-cylinder 2CV engine) and the GS type gearbox, the Oltcit shares no mechanical parts with any previous Citroëns – every piece was designed by Citroën uniquely for this Ami successor.

În 1991 Citroën îşi vinde participaţia la Oltcit către statul român, iar acesta redenumeşte compania Automobile Craiova. Producţia a continuat până în 1994, când au sosit la Craiova coreenii de la Daewoo. Ultimul Oltcit a ieşit de pe linia de producţie în 1996, sub brandul Oltena.

2015年12月2日 · Oltcit a fost, aşadar, ultima maşină Citroën 100%, chiar dacă a fost asamblată doar în România, pentru că proiectul, piesele şi chiar şi uzina erau toate de concepţie Citroën! Toate maşinile PSA de după aceasta au avut aportul tehnologiei şi know-how-ului Peugeot.
