2005年11月4日 · One of the best improvements one can make to their 80-series suspension is to upgrade to OME L-series shocks. The L-series allow for 1.6" more rear travel and an overall 2.6-inch rear droop improvement over standard OME shocks.

2005年8月25日 · FWIW, my favorite on-road setup was stock shocks and OME 865 springs. I went with regular OME shocks after that but they were too stiff. Switched again and built my own setup using 80 series N74L shocks and OME 860 springs. I had to build a spring retainer because the shocks were so long. I used Man A Fre 80 series extended links as well.

Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Shocks are super strong and deliver excellent valve control for a better ride.

2007年8月4日 · Ordered the lift for my '93, all parts are here except the rear shocks (OME N74L) which are on national backorder! I have called several different vendors trying to source a pair with no luck. No one seems to have any idea when ARB will be able to get some into the US, but the best bet has been "maybe in two weeks or so".

2006年7月11日 · Additional suspension travel in the rear was achieved by using longer OME N74L shocks. The Old Man Emu shocks also do an excellent job of controlling suspension compression, minimizing bottoming.
