For guys dedicating the Omega "X"K onto a 9m pcc trying to get it small, it's hard to recommend the 45K as it's larger. Hence the wild popularity of the 9K and why it gets talked about so much.

2019年3月7日 · Omega 45K is not centerfire rifle rated. Omega 300 is a 30 caliber rifle can. Hybrid 46 is a great rifle rated can that is able to accommodate pistol caliber projectiles as well as magnum rifle rounds and alot of stuff in between. I vote Hybrid 46. If not that Omega 300. No need for the Omega 45K as you already have a dedicated pistol can.

2019年6月30日 · Also I have another omega 9k set up for handgun use (piston) and a Blackhawk MiniBoss (omega 9k clone) still in jail that will be 3lug for the 9mm subguns. I'm not going to lie, I've even shot the 9k on the end of a 16" .223 bolt gun with acceptable results. Probably my favorite can. But yeah OP, if you have a 45, then I'd go Omega 45k all day.

2022年8月29日 · Somebody also peeled one open on a 5.56 shorter than 14.5”. The bigger hole of the .45 should reduce peak pressure over a 9mm can, but also be louder. A better choice would be a Rex MG7. The integral booster housing/cage on the Omega K’s could get damaged even if the blast chamber contains the higher pressures of light 5.56 use.

2019年10月19日 · The Omega 300 definitely seems gassier than the little 9k. On a closed breech 16” Handi rifle with subsonics the Omega 300 is pleasantly quiet, no hearing protection needed, sounds of bullet hitting backstop seems louder than muzzle.

2018年10月2日 · hey all, looking to get a centerfire can for some random 9mm, 45, and 300BO guns. I know that many 9mm and 45 cans will work with 300BO subs, but I just learned the SilencerCo Omega 45K (and 9 version) will work with 300 supers as well.
