Onchan (/ ˈ ɔː ŋ k ən /; Manx: Kione Droghad) is a large village in the parish of Onchan on the Isle of Man. It is at the north end of Douglas Bay. Administratively a district, it has the second largest population of settlements on the island, after Douglas, with which it forms a conurbation.

On-chan (onちゃん) is the mascot of Japanese television station HTB, based in the Hokkaido Prefecture. He was originally created as the mascot character for HTB's 30th anniversary campaign, "On Parade! HTB". His name comes from the expressions "switch on" and "on parade". He was permanently named HTB's official mascot character in 1999.
