2007年6月13日 · The symptom is that one speaker sounds louder, now what we have to do is find the cause; find out why. Before you swap speakers make sure your speaker wire ends are in good shape and that there are no stray strands of wire sticking out. Make sure they are cleanly and solidly place in their respective connectors.

2025年2月17日 · Even without the speaker wire, the banana plug will not stay into the speaker. It's not secure. It's wobbly. That's why I thought maybe I just needed to buy a new plug. Can't understand how gravity will hold that wire in place. Thanks for such a quick reply. Sort of looks like I am stuck with just one speaker.

I also suspect most places that specialize in in-wall and in-ceiling speakers will have some type of speaker level Stereo to Mono converter similar to the Kef Transformer. Steve/bluewizard

2009年7月21日 · Remember that one channel is the side to side movement of the needle, and the other channel is the up and down movement of the needle. So, poor tracking weight might effect one of the channels, though that is rare. Anti-skate and level can both favor one channel over the other. Anti-skate being the most prominent.

2007年11月2日 · But only one speaker. Have swapped over cables on speaker ports on amp (and used Remote Speaker ports) and this swaps the speaker that works. So I concluded that it was not the Speakers and most likely the speaker cable. But, if you turn the volume up on the amp to almost half way both speakers work, but it is deafening!

2015年10月9日 · if you only have one run of speaker cable from the Avr to front L&R, then that goes to output 1 on the switcher, leave the binding posts on (You can also bi-wire if you wish) you then make/buy 2 pairs of speaker cable. 1 set (L&R) from the av amp goes to input A on the switcher 1 set (L&R) from other amp goes to input B on the switcher

2006年1月2日 · the other option is to run a stereo phono cable from the av amps pre-outs (left and right front speakers) to the pre-in or tape in on the stereo amp, then run the speakers from the stereo amp.....only downside to this is when you watch movies you need to remember a point you set the volume on the stereo amp so its inline with the surround speakers....
