Jan 27, 2019 · I can't imagine it would be too difficult for Ooma to add this capability to their app and I think it would fill a big hole in the service: Being able to give out 1 number: at home receiving the call using Ooma Telo or other device, mobile using the call forwarding to your mobile phone, and mobile receiving and sending SMS using the Ooma app.

Jan 6, 2025 · The Ooma handsets and Linx use DECT protocol between them and the Telo but again, this is a proprietary interface. You can't connect other DECT handsets to the Telo and Ooma handsets can't be used with other DECT base stations.

They may also want to limit which departments can cancel services, and not outsource that to third-party contractors.

Below 25ma things start to go wrong and line powered devices (converters, autodialers, old Western Electric touch tone dials, etc) don't work properly.
