4 天之前 · I'm new to Davinci Resolve & I'm trying to figure out how to import my openexr sequence of 32 bpc for grading. However Resolve seems to import it as 16 bpc by default & I can't find a way to change the bit depth to 32.

4 天之前 · Now I have created an OpenEXR / Rec709 file in Blender (3D software) and I have set Color Management to Aces and input and output transform to Rec709. When I open the file I see a very dark image (probably the linear image without view transform).

3 天之前 · Hi, AFAIK, Fusion doesn't handle Multilayer OpenEXRs the same way Nuke does. So in order to use them I have always used the split EXR script, which works like a charm, but with one problem.

1 天前 · I have imported an openEXR sequence into fusion and, I have the different channels in the MediaIn2 node itself that has the multiple render passes. How do I extract the depth pass from the channels? If I change all the R,G,B channels to "depth.z", the depth pass shows but it needs some adjusting.

Resolve seems to happily read the files, but they are all broken in the same way, the video within the file seems to exceed the video range of Resolve. All of the clips are massively overexposed and clipped.

2025年3月9日 · Hey all. Could someone point me in the right direction for the proper workflow for working with multilayer openEXR image sequences out of C4D? I can bring them into Fusion, but the color space looks... odd. Everything looks log-ish, and I can't figure out how to get it set correctly. Thanks for your help!

2021年4月15日 · I feel like openEXR SHOULD be ideal for this. I can import my sequence, create a timeline, hop into fusion, and do my initial setup, then duplicate the media node as I see fit and simply swap out to the appropriate alpha channel. But things get REALLY bogged down. GPU memory full errors, crashes, insanely slow playback (like 1 frame/15s slow)

2018年4月6日 · The OpenEXR wikipedia entry contains a decent summary of the different compression methods. It leaves out that DWAA only uses its lossy method for RGBA channels. Auxiliary channels like Z, Normals and World Position are stored with (I think) Zip compression. Zips is optimized for software that uses scanline rendering, such as Nuke.
