2016年3月24日 · We use the Optima battery charger with Optima batteries on the racecar. Only works with 12V batteries. It's computer controlled and has saved two batteries that otherwise were dead. 2012年4月10日 · I have a Optima Battery Red Top in a car I don't drive much. Optima says never to let the voltage drop below 12.4 volts. Optima says only to use a charger with a AGM setting.

Even trickle-charger can treat an Optima battery as it regulates the voltage properly. For a running charger on an indefinite period, you must remain under 1-amp of current and 13.8-volts of voltage as a maximum range.
