Origanum libanoticum (Lebanese oregano, hopflower oregano, cascading hopflower oregano, ornamental oregano or cascading oregano) [2] [3] is a species of herbaceous flowering plant in the family Lamiaceae, native to the mountains of Lebanon and Syria.

Produces lush layers of flower bracts that resemble hop flowers. Grown mainly as an ornamental. The foliage is fragrant but the taste is not as appealing as the traditional culinary forms of Oregano. This plant looks lovely spilling over the edge of containers and hanging baskets. The bracts may be dried for use in crafts or cut arrangements.
