2019年3月31日 · My Oryx chassis showed up and I dropped in my Vudoo V22 to try it out. Took all of about 1 minute to install. I installed an Arca rail on the bottom, a direct mount for my tripod. I ran out of M Lok bolts so I used 1/4 in stainless bolt with a nylock nut. The nut fits inside the forend perfectly and holds the nut in place, no wrench required.

2018年4月10日 · For future reference, I milled out my old Savage 116 stagger feed action to fit the 3.715" AICS mags used in the Oryx long action chassis. In the photo above, I scribed a line on the bottom of the action where it met the mag well opening. Having zero information other than "that material needs to be removed", I milled it out.

2019年7月9日 · During today’s session, the same bullets and the Oryx chassis averaged 0.347 for 8 groups with the same powder and scope giving the Oryx chassis an average to date of 0.345 – slightly better than the factory stock. There were only 4 groups for each of the two bullet loads with the two types of primers.

2012年5月31日 · Have had my ORYX 10/22 chassis for about 2 weeks now. Did a couple of mods to satisfy myself including an mlok mount for a bipod. One issue I did have was with the crossbolt torqued as specified, my action was moving. The rear of the action was rising up out of the chassis due to barrel weight, tipping forward.

2019年5月17日 · The only chassis style rifle I have is an RPR 6.5 which of course has an adjustable stock. I find myself needing/wanting a cheekpiece on the B&C but instead of adding one on and still having JUST an old style stock (which isn't that bad), I'm considering going with a chassis since I like the RPR. Considering the Oryx chassis.

2019年10月7日 · My 2 Oryx chassis for a pair of Savage 12FV donors in .243 and .223 I sprayed the chassis metal in Alumahyde to smooth out the rough anodizing and painted the plastic panels with Krylon for a different look on one of them. I was almost going to pick up a 3rd one on the blemish sale but picked up a MDT Savage Stealth with stock for the same price.

2020年10月18日 · The core of each chassis (action to chassis interface) are just as good as each other and either will work as a PRS trainer, but the oryx although machined to the same quality and not at all fit/functionally inferior to the lss definitely doesn't have the intricacy and time of machining that the lss does.

2020年4月3日 · I purchased the oryx chassis for my remington 700 22-250. The only caliber magazine recommend is the 308. I thought this was strange since the rounds are different lengths. I figured oh well, maybe they know something I don't.

2020年8月13日 · I just purchased a Howa SA in 6.5 CM with Oryx chassis. I also purchased several Magpul AICS magazines to go with it. I’ve had issues with all magazines, even the supplied MDT magazine. I’ve had to shave off material from the feed lips and top front of the Magpul magazines to get the bolt to. Lear and magazines to seat withou smacking them ...
