Der Osella FA1 (alternativ Osella FA1A oder Osella FA1/A[1]) war ein Formel-1 -Rennwagen, den der Turiner Konstrukteur Osella Ende 1979 baute und 1980 mit einem Werksteam in der Weltmeisterschaft einsetzte. Der FA1 war Osellas erster Formel-1-Rennwagen.

Osella's first F1 car, the 1980 FA1, used Ferrari-style 'Aero' construction and was bulky, overweight, and unreliable. Eddie Cheever moved up with the team from F2, and achieved some promising grid positions.

The Osella FA1L was a Formula One car designed by Antonio Tomaini and raced by Osella in the 1988 FIA Formula One World Championship. The car was the last Osella to be powered by a turbocharged engine, the 1.5-litre V8 named the Osella 890T.

Osella is an Italian racing car manufacturer and former Formula One team. They participated in 132 Grands Prix between 1980 and 1990. They achieved two points finishes and scored five world championship points. Osella placed second in the 1977 World Championship for Sports Cars with the Osella PA5 BMW.

2024年8月7日 · The first Osella F1 car was designed by Giorgio Stirana and powered by a Cosworth DFV. The car was named the FA1 and a modified car the FA1A. The car was slow and overweight and unreliable, only finishing 2 of 14 races. Both finishes were out of the points.
