Officially called "the art deco crest" by Arsenal FC. Logo first created in 1949, was first used on kits in 1990. Until 1967, logos only appeared on Arsenal's shirts at cup finals. In the London district of Woolwich in 1886, Arsenal was first founded. Its initial logo was inspired by the area in which the Club was first founded. Woolwich was home to several military hospitals, as well as the Royal Arsenal and Royal Artillery Regiment.

The earlier Arsenal Club logos feature an elegant Old English typeface. Since 2002, the logo features a font similar to Clear Gothic TS DemiBold. Although originally the logo was done in strict white and black, it later moved to a bold and daring red and white.

Le logo d’Arsenal a connu plusieurs évolutions au fil des années, tout en restant fidèle à ses éléments principaux. La première version du logo était très simple : il s’agissait d’un canon surmonté des lettres A et F. C. Les designers ont ensuite ajouté le cercle pour encadrer l’emblème et y ajouter les couleurs rouge et blanc.
