2010年8月2日 · You can use your stretch gauge, or you need a C mic. The ends of the bolts aren't exactly parallel or flat, so it's a little tough with a c mic. I use a 2" standard from my c mics and set my stretch gauge to zero on 2", then note the bolt lengths from there. If you change bolts, you should have your rod big ends re-checked for round.

2020年4月7日 · If you measured and recorded all the bolt lengths before you started(like your supposed to), you can then release all torque on those two bolts and measure them, see if they return to their original length....if they do, it hasn't been overstretched to its yield point, and is fine.
