2008年4月1日 · The Oxblood LP is one of the best sounding and playing LPs out there, IMO. I had a '99 and it was sweet, sweet, sweet! Hole in the head for deciding to sell it. You're really not missing much on the color, they look black most of the time anyway. If you get them in the right light you can see a sort of brownish/purpleish thing going on.

2022年1月18日 · The backup would be the '97 R4 Oxblood. That guitar is a beast and I used to play it so much I had it refretted with 6100's when the original frets were too low. I later had a truss rod issue and the guitar fell out of rotation.

2013年8月30日 · I love Gibson's Oxblood color for the '54 reissues, but, have a look at Jeff Beck's old Les Paul--the original one. The color is almost black. Way darker than Gibson's take. But, I agree with most here--wine red.
