The Jeff Beck Les Paul, 54' Oxblood Reissue - The Gear Page
2008年4月1日 · The Oxblood LP is one of the best sounding and playing LPs out there, IMO. I had a '99 and it was sweet, sweet, sweet! Hole in the head for deciding to sell it. You're really not missing much on the color, they look black most of the time anyway. If you get them in the right light you can see a sort of brownish/purpleish thing going on.
Oxblood Les Paul with Heartbreaker Tone | The Gear Page
2024年10月20日 · I’d like to get one in Oxblood that is geared towards a Jimmy Page-type tone, think “Heartbreaker”. Yes, I know I don’t have his fingers. I have an amp and technique that is suitable for this purpose but looking for a guitar that fits the description above. I don’t mind switching out whatever pickups come in the Oxblood Les Paul, if ...

2022年1月18日 · My '06 Oxblood is everything you describe above. I have several dual humbucker guitars, including a very good Greg Martin CC15, but the Oxblood just feels like home. I'll probably be buried with it, it's that good of a guitar. @GiorgioV, what pickups did you land on for it? I've been through a bunch - my Oxblood seems to be incredibly finnicky ...
The West TN Connection to the Jeff Beck Oxblood Les Paul.
2018年12月30日 · An Arena Rock sounding guitarist who played rather often at Martin, TN with different bands but hailed from the Greater area around Dyersburg, is the man who spec'd the Les Paul Oxblood. His name was Eddie Voorhees. He is deceased. He lived to be late or middle fifties and I have found him via Ancestry.com.
Which PAF's in Jeff Beck LP Oxblood? - The Gear Page
2010年3月8日 · I am wondering what kind of PAF's would have been in Jeff Beck's original Les Paul Oxblood, the '54 Les Paul which he played on during the BBA days. Does anybody know of the original pickup configuration, like strength, magnet type, build year? I am not talking about the reissues that Gibson put out, just his original '54 Les Paul.

2016年5月16日 · '52 RI Tele (1pc ash, set up as Broadcaster) > Oxblood > Fender '65 Twin (stock) side: high-def 1970s classic rock tone for miles. Oxblood Volume at noon, Gain 2:00, Phat to the left, Clipping to the right, Tone on the brighter side (not quite treble boost) which allowed for a wide range of tones just by managing the Tele's volume and tone pots.
The Mighty Oxblood Les Paul - The Gear Page
2022年1月18日 · The backup would be the '97 R4 Oxblood. That guitar is a beast and I used to play it so much I had it refretted with 6100's when the original frets were too low. I later had a truss rod issue and the guitar fell out of rotation.
NGD: 2024 Les Paul Standard - Translucent Oxblood - The Gear Page
2024年11月17日 · That's really striking. Play it well. Now that Jeff Beck's oxblood is going up for auction, I'm wondering if that's the LP I saw him play at the Fillmore East in the summer of '69. It just appeared to be a black LP. Maybe he had a couple …
Is this color "Oxblood"? - The Gear Page
2013年8月30日 · I love Gibson's Oxblood color for the '54 reissues, but, have a look at Jeff Beck's old Les Paul--the original one. The color is almost black. Way darker than Gibson's take. But, I agree with most here--wine red.
