2009年7月10日 · Make sure you leave about 2 inches on the white wires. You can clip the black and gray wires at the sensor itself to retain as much length as possible on the harness side. You will need the two white wires on each sensor later to supply the voltage needed for the heater to function properly, so make sure you leave enough wire to allow a connection.

It needs to fluctuate voltage and send that signal back to the computer so the engine can keep the air/fuel ratio in the correct range. o2 sensors fluctuate from .1 - .9 volts depedning on a/f mixture. REPLACE it if it's not functioning properly.

2015年6月9日 · After almost 2 days of driving, the system relating to the oxygen sensors still isn't ready, so I don't have the codes yet. I imagine as soon as it becomes ready, it will report what it has before. I don't recall the exact numbers, but it was the same as when the pre-cat sensors went - something similar to "O2 Sensor, Bank 2, Sensor 1".

I get back and sit with my revs at 2500 while watching the 4 real time O2 sensor graphs. The two pre cats are going up and down as one might expect. The two post cats are at a steady 0.7 volts. Practically flat lined.

2009年7月8日 · I have a 330Ci 2001 and I installed some jobber brake pads yesterday and the kit was missing the little metal part that holds the sensor in the pads (jobber POS). So the sensor was not holding in the pads. (the sensor is still good) I just attached the sensor wire to a close wire and it holds fine.

As the sensor ages in becomes less sensitive thus slowly causes the fuel mixture to get richer. This causes a decrease in performance and fuel economy (important these days) and the richer mixture makes the catalytic coverter work harder.
