Oyu Tolgoi provides meticulous training for heavy machinery operators. This includes theoretical courses, a 14-day simulator training to gain basic knowledge, and 300-400 hours of supervised hands-on practice in the underground mine before employees are fully qualified to operate the equipment independently.

The Oyu Tolgoi mine, also Oyuutolgoi (Mongolian: Оюутолгой, pronounced [ɔˌjʊˑtʰɔɮˈɢœˑ]; lit. "Turquoise Hill"), is a combined open pit and underground mining project in Khanbogd sum within the south Gobi Desert, approximately 235 kilometres (146 mi) east of the Ömnögovi Province capital Dalanzadgad.

2020年12月17日 · 蒙古政府已同意出资建造电力厂供应Oyu Tolgoi矿运营，目前还未建成。 预计2021年3月1日达成增加现有电力供应协议，2021年3月31日与蒙古政府建的电力厂签署电力购买协议。
