2012年11月11日 · Driving home today, I got the dreaded CEL. Went to AutoZone and got the P0010 code - Intake Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Solenoid Control Circuit. I haven't had any major problems with this car.. yet. I have a 2010 2.4LS model with about ~67,800 miles on it. I bought it certified pre-owned in 2013.

2011年8月23日 · P0010 means the ECM detected an open, short to ground, or a short to voltage on the high control circuit or an open on the low reference circuit for more than 0.25 second. I would bet you have an intermittent wire harness issue. But you really can't rule out a bad component yet.

When I first started chasing up the check engine light I found P0010 fault I read through a number of forums regarding this engine and I noticed people recommended just changing the solenoid/oil control valve. Others recommended cleaning the valve. Neither made sense in my mind without knowing the "why".

p0010, p0011, p1174, p0420 I suspect a bad upstream o2 sensor may be the root of all these codes. I do sometimes notice a MINOR power loss and volume of the exhaust sounds muffled but loud from the engine bay. Has anyone ever encountered all of these codes at once? Looking for input before I just replace everything related. Thanks.

2021年5月2日 · P0010, 11, 13, 14 - You need to replace the VVT actuator solenoids for intake and exhaust. Buy the ACDelco brand because the cheap aftermarket ones are unreliable junk. P0442 - Evap leak. You might just need a new gas cap. It is safe to drive with those codes, but you should address the issue soon.

2015年7月12日 · What exactly are the codes p0010 & p0011? I've looked them up but I still have no clue what exactly they are? The guy at Autozone didn't explain much of anything. he acted like it was a burden to help. What I did get out of him was that the camshaft position sensor is open. I want to know how does this affect me driving my car.

2018年8月20日 · For the past few months, the check engine light kept going on and off. I was told by a "friend" that it was probably because a piece of my auxiliary plug broke off in my plug. Well.....I WISH! I took it to get an emissions inspection and found out that I failed because of DTC Codes P0010 and P0011.

2014年11月18日 · I have a 2008 Malibu, 2.4, with 138,000 miles. This time last year, the cam shaft sensor code (p0010) came on. Replaced one and reset the battery. Still on. Fast forward to now and the car is now running like crap. Still throwing same code (even after replacing 2nd sensor) and now the catalytic converter code (p0420) is showing.
