2015年4月17日 · Got a P0021 and P0300 Code repeatedly. Changed the oil and filter. Still getting the P0021 and P0300 codes. I am looking to now change the VVT Solenoid for Bank 2. I am hoping somebody can verify that it's the one at the front side (nearest front bumper) on the passenger side.

2020年9月9日 · Code P0021 after water pump replacement. Truck also seems to have a loss in power. I have timing cover off thinking that the chain has jumped. After looking at chains I can only think that main chain jumped at crank sprocket as when you loosen chain it will sag at crank sprocket and It seems when engine started in jumped.

2023年8月5日 · Bank2 is the front bank on all transverse VQ's. When a new solenoid and sensor don't fix a P0011/P0021, it usually means there's a clog or leak in the oil passages in the timing cover. You can try blowing back through the passages but don't use high pressure. If the problem is a leaky o-ring, that will make it leak worse.
